A deal is a live listing whose delivered cost sits under UltraBall’s price for the exact copy, built from at least four recent sales, re-verified within twelve hours, with the photo checked for slabs and Japanese copies. Low-confidence matches never count, so these figures are a floor.
5,706 of the live listings are sealed products (430 products); they are counted in the totals and left out of every card breakdown.
How this is worked out
A live listing is one UltraBall’s exact-card matcher tied to a single English card, printing and grade (or a sealed product), seen on its last refresh and not since gone, hidden or held for review. Listings are refreshed on a schedule: every watched copy hourly, the busiest cards every few hours, every card above the price gate daily, from eBay US, with eBay UK fetched on demand. Coverage is therefore “the cards UltraBall tracks”, not all of eBay.
Medians are of asking prices on eBay US in US dollars; an auction’s price is its current bid. Sealed products are counted in the totals and left out of set, Pokémon and era breakdowns. The daily line is one reading a day; days before the reading began are rebuilt from first-seen and gone stamps. Verified deals are the published UltraBall deals pipeline with its own thresholds.
